We tuff people are busy compiling teh epic gifs, but here’s one for now. It kills me. Wish I knew what they were singing to.

A Splash of Anger

Short yet informative article on the psychology of colour. A good read for anyone, especially people who have previously ignored this incredibly useful subject.

Photoshop CS4: Keeping it Real Real
Saw this post on IBelieveInAdvertising of this absolutely brilliant ad for Adobe Photoshop CS4 which will blow the brains out of any photoshop geek’s head. Would be pretty refreshing to have this as a working skin in photoshop, especially for those on multi-day multi-year photoshop binges. See the ad bigger here, and a behind-the-scenes making of gallery here.

BMX Needs More of This: Kert Petersel Ad
A Simple Bikes ad from 2007 that was in Props 67. The music is catchy but doesn’t take itself too seriously, the filming is on point, the editing is efficient, and the riding is gnarly. More!!

Magnum- Tour De France
MAGNUM- Tour De France: This is hands down the best photo essay on bikes I’ve ever seen and I doubt a better one will ever be made. John Vink, Robert Capa, Elliott Erwitt, and Henri Cartier-Bresson: A-list dream team shooting le tour. After spending a lot of my life obsessively looking at bike pictures, this is like finding the holy grail. There must be a book with these photographs somewhere. Completely amazing.
Vintage Camelbak

ATOMIC BABOON Camelbak Ads: Love these vintage road shots, the first one cracks me up. Contrasted to today they make competitive riding look like so much… fun. Hit the link to see them bigger.
TokyoPlastic
TOKYOPLASTIC: The not-so-Japanese collective has updated their website. Super fun- like being so engrossed in ice-cream that you don’t care it’s dripping on to your new shirt fun. Lost a part of my evening to this site.
Versus
Apologies for the lack of updates. Have been on work related travels and olympic related tv-binges (gymnastics). Today, Singapore qualified for the women’s team table tennis finals, which guarantees us at least a silver. This may sound inconsequential, but the last and only olympics medal we ever acquired was in 1960; very exciting. Our tactic of buying Chinese talent is proving fruitful (none of the team were born in Singapore).

Absurdly good photo from a Andrew Hetherington Interview.

Still in love with these sketches by Andrea Joseph. Make sure to see them full size.
